Laser Dentistry
Dr. John Chung has been trained by experts in Laser dentistry to provide drill-less and painless dental procedures in his office.
Lasers in dentistry allows us to do 95% of all fillings, crowns and porcelain veneers without the use of a drill and most importantly no anesthetic (SHOTS). Through a procedure called laser anesthesia, the tooth or teeth will be temporarily numbed allowing us to do the treatment faster, quieter and painlessly.
Lasers can be of great help in treating patients with frenum attachments (tongue tied), this will help in speech. This procedure is done without a SHOT with minimal discomfort to the patient during and after the procedure.
Lasers can also help in cold sores both in and out of the mouth. All it takes, 5-10 minutes per site about 2-3 appointments to stop the cold sore from ever coming back to that location. Also did I mention no SHOTS!
